Russian online newspaper Svobodnaya Pressa cited General Director of NPO “Basalt” Vladimir Porhachev as saying that a new cluster bomb is being develop specially for carriage on the T-50 PAK-FA.
According to Vladimir Porhachev, the weapon relies on satellite navigation for guidance and has an effective range of 30km.
The 3 meter by half meter bomb, dubbed “Drill,” is stealthy and weighs 540 kg. It contains 15 sub-munitions.
