USAF to kick off study on KC-Z this year

The U.S. Air Force will embark on a study this year for a new KC-Z aerial refueling tanker that will enter service in 2035.

According to Gen. Carlton Everhart, head of Air Mobility Command, the study will determine if the new flying gas station requires stealth, standoff or penetrating capabilities.
