Taiwan wants Google to censor images of its military installations in South China Sea

Taiwan has approached Google and asked the American IT company to blur its satellite images of military installations on Taiping Island in the South China Sea.

The latest Google Earth images of the island showed four three-pronged structures arranged in a semi-circular fashion on the beach next to an airstrip.

Google spokesman Taj Meadows told the BBC that it is reviewing the request.
