A video from Ruptly TV on an offensive operation in Syria’s Latakia region shows a Su-25UB attack jet. Russia had withdrawn its Su-25 attack aircraft in March, the appearance over Syria could mean that the type has been reintroduced in the region.

Boeing, Lockheed Martin given $43 million each for MQ-25 for risk reduction activities
The Pentagon announced in Contract Release No: CR-184-16 on Sept. 23 that it has given both Boeing and Lockheed Martin $43 million each “to conduct risk reduction activities in support of the MQ-25 unmanned carrier aviation air system.”

Four E-8Cs grounded for inspections
Four E-8Cs that recently completed depot maintenance at a Northrop Grumman facility have been grounded after one of the surveillance jet had a Class A mishap with its main sensor, the APY-7 radar.
