B-52H Ghost Rider is now operational

The B-52H bomber, #61-007, that was resurrected and flown out from The Boneyard in February, 2015 has completed its nine-month overhaul and upgrade at Tinker Air Force Base is now fully operational and has join the active strategic bomber fleet.

Ghost Rider is the first B-52H to ever be regenerated from long-term storage and it is now assigned to the 5th Bomb Wing at Minot Air Force Base.
