USN dispatched 3 warships off Yemen following attack on HSV-2

The U.S. Navy has confirmed that three of its warships are now operating off the coast of Yemen after HSV-2 was attacked by Houthi forces.

The warships are: USS Nitze (DDG-94), USS Mason (DDG-87) and the afloat forward staging base USS Ponce (AFSB(I)-15), USNI reported.

All three are now stationed near Bab Al Mandeb strait where the missile attack took place.
