The Indonesian Air Force has started a massive air exercise over a period of two-weeks on the Natuna islands in the South China Sea.

Jemi Trisonjaya, spokesman for the service, said more than 2,000 airmen are participating in the drills, which is to show Indonesia has a “good enough air force to act as a deterrent.”
