Taiwan had planned to shoot down its indigenous Sky Bow II interceptor with the American Patriot air defense system on Oct. 5 but the countdown was aborted after a China Coast Guard vessel was found lurking nearby.

The Sky Bow II was supposed to be fired from Jihui Fish Port and a Patriot fired from Jioupeng Military Base will attempt to shoot it down.
This exercise was scheduled in May but has been postponed due to typhoons.
