Skipper of LPD-17 said “crew performed flawlessly” during attack

The commanding office of USS San Antonio has praised his crew for fending off a anti-ship cruise missile attack off Yemen last week in a Facebook post.

Capt. Darren Nelson wrote that the “crew performed flawlessly in the defense of (the) ship” during the ship’s transit through the Bab al-Mandeb strait.
