Russia says data from its radars prove Belgium F-16s had struck village in Syria

The Russian Defense Ministry claims that Russian and Syrian radars have tracked Belgium F-16s in the vicinity of Hassajek village near Aleppo in Syria on Oct. 18. An air strike there had killed six civilians on that day.

Spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said the jets had taken off from their bases in Jordan at 01:34 a.m. and entered Syria at 02:37 a.m.

The village was struck at 03:55 a.m. local time and the F-16s did not leave Syrian airspace until 07:25 a.m.
