U.S. strategic military assets could be permanently deployed to South Korea on rotational basis

U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter and South Korean Defense Minister Han Min-koo said during a press conference that both sides are considering the deployment of U.S. strategic military assets to South Korea on a permanent rotational basis.

“We discussed a lot of options, including permanently deploying U.S. strategic assets on a rotational basis,” Han was quoted as saying during the event at the Pentagon.

Yonhap news characterize these strategic assets as the B-1, B-2 and F-22.
