India has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the procurement of 200 sets of self-protection systems to be installed on its Mi-17V-5 helicopters.

Each system consists of a Radar Warning Receiver (RWR), Missile Approach Warning System (MAWS) and Counter Measure Dispensing System (CMDS).
Fifteen aircraft will get an additional Laser Warning Receiver (LWR) and Directed Infrared Counter Measure system.
