For years, Joint Base Lewis-McChord have been providing aircraft and maintenance to 57th Squadron. By shifting the twice-a-year classes to JB Lewis-McChord will allow AMC to “repurpose up to 495 flight hours, return up to 3,500 man-days of capability back to the 62nd Maintenance Group.” In short, it saves money for the taxpayer.
