Afghanistan getting Black Hawks

A press release from three U.S. lawmakers said the Pentagon will stop buying Mi-17 helicopters for Afghanistan and switch to the Sikorsky Black Hawk instead.

For a start, the Pentagon will modernize 53 UH-60As by acquiring them from the Army before transferring to the Afghans.
