Norway to seek parliamentary approval to buy 5 P-8As

The Norwegian government announced on Nov. 25 that it plans to buy five Boeing P-8As to replace six P-3s and three DA-20 Jet Falcon surveillance planes.

USNI News reported that the parliament is expected to approve the purchase during voting in December.

Delivery by Boeing will commence in 2021 or 2022.
