Denmark withdrawing F-16s from ISIL fight

Danish foreign minister Anders Samuelsen announced that his government will not extend the F-16 mission in the Middle East after the six-month combat deployment comes to an end this month.

“It has been assessed whether it would make sense from economical and practical considerations (to extend the mission) … the conclusion has been that it makes no sense, so we just stick to the plan,” Samuelsen said.
