U.S. supplying components to keep Taiwan’s MIM-72A working

The Pentagon announced on Dec. 9 that Madison Research Corp. will supply 450 thermal batteries, 466 rocket motors, 150 safety and arming devices, and 248 warheads for Taiwan’s MIM-72A Chaparral air defense missile system.

The contract is worth $23 million to Madison and the company has until Dec. 10 to complete the job.
