134th EFS flew combat ops within 15 hours of arriving at deployed location

Usually, it takes up to 48 hours for a Expeditionary Fighter Squadron to generate combat air power after arriving at the deployment location. The 134th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron’s recent deployment to Southwest Asia only took 15 hours.

An Air National Guard is usually given twelve months to prepare for the deployment. The 134th EFS was only given one month.

Achieving this feat would not have been possible without help from air guards units from Alabama, New Jersey and Wisconsin.
