Ukraine has lamented that the 72 RQ-11B mini-unmanned aerial vehicles supplied by the United States are ineffective against Russian-back separatists who are good at jamming and hacking the drones’ video and data feed.

The Ukrainian Air Force acknowledged the issue, telling Reuters that the datalink “is analog, therefore command channels and data are not protected from interception and suppression by modern means of electronic warfare.”
Therefore, these drones have been keep out of the frontline as they may expose Ukrainian positions.
