Belarus to set up joint venture with China for producing UAVs

An official with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus says his country is in talks with China to set up a joint venture to produce unmanned aerial vehicles in Belarus.

Sergei Chizhik added that the contract is likely to be signed in first quarter of 2017.

“We are working together with China to start joint production. It is China’s largest company and, I think, the world’s largest company. There are plans to set up the joint enterprise in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.”
