New Zealand says no talks with Japan on C-2, P-1

A spokesperson from the New Zealand Defense Force has refuted a report by Nikkei Asian Review that there were discussions regarding the Kawasaki P-1 maritime patrol aircraft and C-2 cargo plane.

The same news report said no one from Japan came to New Zealand for talks and Wellington is not making a decision on the replacements for its P-3 and C-130 this year.
