Taiwan reveals indigenous AESA radar

At a ceremony to sign a memorandum between the Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF) and National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST) for the indigenous advance jet trainer, a model of NCSIST’s in-house AESA radar was shown to the public for the first time.

This is how Tern’s SideArm UAV capture system works

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has been funding Aurora’s SideArm UAV launch and recovery system for the Tactically Enhanced Reconnaissance Node (Tern) program. A video showing how the actual system works has been posted online.

Taj Sareen was having issues with his jet’s INS before crash

A F/A-18C from VMFA-232 crashed near Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England on Oct. 21, 2016. BBC has seen the accident investigation report which says the Hornet’s Inertial Navigation System was not “100%” before it took off.
