RAAF will attempt to bring 2 F-35As to Avalon airshow

This year’s iteration of the Avalon airshow in Melbourne, Australia could see the debut of the Lockheed Martin F-35A in the country.

The Australian government announced that it will bring two of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) F-35As currently at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona to the show at the end of this month.

Flight Global reports that the ferry flights can only occur if supporting tanking aircraft can be arranged.
