Greece wants to upgrade F-16s to V variant, lay foundation for F-35

Greece’s Defense Minister Panos Kammenos has approved a project to upgrade the country’s F-16 fleet to the latest V variant on Feb. 7.

The upgrade is expected to cost tax payers between 1.7 and 2 billion dollars.

His ministry also reveal that the country will also approach Washington on getting the F-35 stealth fighter.
