51 sachets of amphetamine found across air base in Taiwan; 20 airmen tested positive

Taiwan’s military has been rocked by another scandal after 51 sachets of amphetamine were found at Ching Chuan Kang air base in Taichung, central Taiwan on Feb. 20.

Approximately 3,000 base personnel were then subjected to a drug test and 20 have been tested positive in the initial urine tests.

Premier Lin Chuan has directed the Ministry of National Defense to carry out thorough checks on all military units and find out who left those packages in the air base.
