The Indian Navy has successfully test-fired an anti-ship missile from its Kalvari-class submarine. The Kalvari is the lead ship of six Scorpene-class submarines built in India.

The service said in a statement that the “missile successfully hit a surface target at an extended range during the trial firing.”
