Airbus, RAAF to develop automated refueling for KC-30A

Airbus has entered an agreement with the Royal Australian Air Force to develop an automatic air-to-air refueling capability for the latter’s KC-30A tanker.

The two-year project will see a RAAF tanker being used for the engineering program.

Chief of Air Force Air Marshal Leo Davies said the minor hardware changes are required for the upgrade.
