North Korea’s launch of four Scud-ER ballistic missiles simulutaneously on Mar. 6 was a rehearsal for a potential nuclear strike against Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni in Japan, Jeffrey Lewis of the Center for Nonproliferation Studies said.
Lewis came to this conclusion after North Korea’s KCNA news agency published a map the next day showing the possible flight paths the missiles could have taken.
