At the recent steering committee meeting of the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) program, it was disclosed that the Romania will likely join the training program at Sheppard Air Force Base before the next committee meeting in September.

Representatives from the Romanian Air Force was at the meeting as well. Romania has been in discussions to enroll on board since 2015.
Spain was the last country to join the program 21 years ago.
