CV-22s not coming to Japan this year, will be deployed in 2020 instead

The Pentagon announced on Mar. 13 that the original plan to deploy three U.S. Air Force CV-22s at Yokota Air Base, Japan this year has been shelved.

Instead, the tilt-rotors will be arriving in fiscal year 2020.

No reason was given for the change in timing.
