Malaysia’s Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein told the press at the end of Langkawi Interna¬≠tional Maritime and Aerospace exhibition that the Boeing Super Hornet and Saab Gripen “are still in the running” to replace Malaysia’s MiG-29.

Yonhap reported that six to eight F-35Bs have been to South Korea and the pilots carried out simulated bomb runs at the Pilsung Shooting Range in the eastern province of Gangwon last week.

At the opening ceremony of the Philippines 16th National Convention of Lawyers last week, President Rodrigo Duterte said the Washington had failed to take decisive action against China in the South China Sea and he asked why U.S. did not send five aircraft carriers to the area and “cut the problem in the bud.”
