Former A-6E NFO selected to be next F-35 program manager

The current deputy program manager for the F-35 office, Rear Adm. Mat Winter, is expected to step up and replace the retiring Lt. Gen. Christopher Bogdan.

Before joining the F-35 program office, Winter was chief of Naval Research. He is expected to be promoted to Vice Admiral once the Senate confirms his nomination.
