Much of the evidence came from fragments of the Unha-3 rocket that launched the Kwangmyongsong-4 satellite into orbit on Feb. 7, 2016. Debris scooped up by the South Korea Navy were analyzed and investigators found pressure sensors, transmitters and circuit boards that were made in the West and sold to Chinese companies. These parts eventually made their way to North Korea.
