T-45C flights to resume with restrictions

The U.S. Navy has lifted the operational pause on its T-45C with some restrictions while the service determine the root cause the problem with the aircraft’s On Board Oxygen Generator System (OBOGS).

A modified mask is being introduced to the fleet and it will not be connected to the OBOGS. This remedy will allow units to complete 75 percent of the syllabus flights. Without oxygen, the flights will have to be flown at less than 10,000 feet.
