The man who fired the Arrow ABM in combat was drafted to become a cook

When Second Lt. Chen Shaked reported to the Israel Defense Force induction center, the assignment officer told him he would end up as a cook or maintenance worker in the military. But the former basketball player wanted to be a combat soldier and choose to be assigned to the air defense artillery.
