Argentina interested in buying Super Étendards, postpones talks for MiG-29s

Argentina is said to be in talks with France to buy refurbished Super Étendards and let the Air Force operate them.

Defense Minister Julio Martinez was quoted as saying that the “transaction provides excellent value, and under very favorable conditions.”

Separately, Interfax said on May 19 that Argentina had decided to postpone talks on the purchase of MiG-29s.
