End of an era as USMC AV-8Bs depart Japan for good

The U.S. Marine Corps has ended its last AV-8B detachment at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan when VMA-311 took its aircraft and departed on Jun. 2.

RMAF evaluating feasibility of operating JMSDF P-3s

Royal Malaysian Air Force Chief Gen. Affendi Buang was in Labuan, East Malaysia to mark the service’s 59th anniversary and he told the local reporters that a technical team has been formed to evaluate the feasibility of operating second-hand P-3s from the Japan Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF).
