Edward Lin sentenced to six years confinement

U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Edward Lin has been given 6 years of confinement by a military judge on Jun. 2 for mishandling classified information and not reporting foreign contacts .

Lin has been under arrest since Sept. 11, 2015 and prosecutors have failed to prove that Lin was engaging in espionage.
