Germany to transfer troops from Turkey to Jordan from next month

German troops and military aircraft now deployed to Turkey will begin their relocation to Jordan starting from next month.

The aerial refueling tanker will be the first to move, German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen told German media. She hopes that the German continent will be ready to start operations in Jordan from mid-July.

Relocating the Tornado ECR fighters will take time and the jets can only resume their mission against ISIL from October.
