Jane’s reported that Israel will declare its F-35 fleet to be operational in December. The jets first arrive in the country in December, 2016.

F-14D BuNo 164346 was the last Tomcat to trap aboard an aircraft carrier in July 2006. It made its final flight on Sept. 15, 2006 when it was delivered to the Virginia Aviation Museum in Richmond.

A U.S. Air Force RQ-4 Global Hawk crashed after departing Edwards Air Force Base on Jun. 21. The unmanned aerial vehicle wsa assigned to 12th Reconnaissance Squadron at Beale Air Force Base, California.
