Two of the four E-4B airborne command post operated by the United States Air Force were damaged by a tornado storm that struck Offutt Air Force Base on Jun. 23.

The base said ten aircraft assigned to the 55th Wing were damaged and six of those have since return back to service. News reports say the six are RC-135s.
