Beriev signs contract to sell 2 Be-200s to Chinese company

A Chinese company has emerged as the newest and civilian operator of the Beriev Be-200 amphibious aircraft.

The Russian aircraft manufacturer said on its website that a contract was signed on Jun. 26 with Leader Energy Aircraft Manufacturing Co. Ltd.

The agreement is for two Be-200s with option for two more aircraft. Beriev will also sell two Be-103s to the Chinese company and help establish the license production of Be-103 in China.
