T-45 to resume flying this month

The U.S. Navy will resume T-45 flights at bases across the United States starting from this month, Vice Adm. Mike Shoemaker, commander of Naval Air Forces disclosed.

Flight instructors will be the first to fly before they are joined by students towards the end of the month.

Shoemaker said “new mitigation measures have been put in place” that gave the service “the confidence to safely resume flight training using the system.”
