Russian Helicopters intends to fit the folding blade system on the land-base variant of the Ka-52 reconnaissance/attack helicopter as part of its upgrade.

“As the technique of folding blades has been mastered, a possibility is being considered to use this technology also in the manufacture of the land version of this helicopter’s modification,” the company said in a press release.
