Eighteen Lockheed C-5Ms assigned to Dover Air Force Base have been grounded for inspections following an incident in Spain whereby a C-5M had a nose gear locking issue while landing.

The first incident occurred on May 23 and during was at Rota, Spain as well. That incident lead to the aircraft being stuck on the runway.
