12 American paratroopers injured during night jump in Romania

Twelve U.S. paratroopers participating in the Saber Guardian 17 exercise in Romania were injured during a night jump on Jul. 22.

A spokesperson said around 500 paratroopers were involved in the exercise at the Campia Turzii air base.

Only one person had to be hospitalized for more than a day while the rest were discharged on Jul. 23.
