Rheinmetall has recently secured two important contracts for its Skyguard air defense systems, one of which is a new customer nation.

The new customer ordered two Skyguard 3 air defense systems. Each system consists of a Skyguard 3 fire control unit as well as two 35mm Oerlikon Twin Gun GDF009 automatic cannons. More orders for the Skyguard 3 are expected as well.
An existing customer also decided to buy more Skyguard 1 fire units. The contract includes 35mm ammunition, simulators, related test equipment as well as training on location.
