DARPA is showing an interesting project for a Flying Missile Rail (FMR) that carries at least one AIM-120 air-to-air missile and can fly on its own for 20 minutes at Mach 0.9.

Afghanistan paying $1.3 billion for 150 MD 530Fs

MD Helicopters of Mesa, Arizona, was awarded a $1.3 billion contract on Sept. 5 to supply an estimated quantity of 150 MD 530F helicopters to Afghanistan.

Myanmar Air Force Soko G-4 missing

A Myanmar Air Force Soko G-4 training jet went missing on Sept. 5 and a search is underway. The jet took off from Pathein and contact was lost at 0918 local time.

Future Russian aircraft carrier could be built in Far East

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told Rossiya-24 television station that future aircraft carriers could be built at the Zvezda shipyard in the Far East.

Additional THAAD launchers being deployed in Seongjun, South Korea
