KC-46A likely to be delivered in spring 2018
Brig. Gen. Donna Shipton, Tankers Directorate program executive officer, told Dayton Daily News that the U.S. Air Force expects the KC-46A aerial refueling tanker to be delivered to the service in spring of 2018.

U.S. to allow Taiwan military observers to watch anti-submarine drills
The United States has agreed to let Taiwanese military observers watch how its navy conduct anti-submarine drills. The agreement will take effect next year.

U.S. deploys Gray Eagle to Philippines
The U.S. Embassy in Manila announced on Sept. 11 that the MQ-1C Gray Eagle has been deployed to Mindanao “in support of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) counterterrorism efforts.”
