RNoAF completes investigation into F-16 strafing incident

The Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) has wrapped up its investigation into the accidental strafing of a control tower by a F-16.

The incident took place in April 2016. Forty 20mm rounds were fired by the M61 Vulcan cannon with five of those rounds hitting the tower which had three person inside.

The pilot had mistaken the light on the tower with the target. Procedures were not followed as well.
